At Happy Hearts we know exactly what means to foster, after all we’ve been doing it ourselves for many years. We understand first-hand what it’s like to care for children in your own home, it’s because of this we enjoy a unique trust and relationship with our foster carers and in return, we find they greatly benefit from this.

Transferring to Happy Hearts
Transferring from your current fostering service is an important decision and we understand starting with someone new can feel like a difficult and sometimes confusing choice.
Happy Hearts will work with you and your individual circumstances when choosing to move from your current fostering service. We will listen and give you genuine, impartial advice and support (with the strictest confidence) whether you choose to move to us or not.
Once you choose to transfer to us (and why wouldn’t you?) we will make the process smooth and stress-free for you. We will liaise with your current fostering service and the local authority to ensure the transfer is smooth and with minimal impact on you and any children or young people you have in your care.
If you have any doubts or questions about the transfer process, speak to us, and we’ll gladly offer confidential, impartial and genuine advice to support your decision and talk you through the transfer process, answering any questions or concerns you may have.
